Aluminized plate: Aluminized steel plate is a steel plate coated with aluminum-silicon alloy, in which the aluminum content is 90% and the silicon content is 10%.

Aluminized plate: Aluminized steel plate is a steel plate coated with aluminum-silicon alloy, in which the aluminum content is 90% and the silicon content is 10%.

Galvanized sheet: The surface coating of aluminized zinc sheet is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and a small amount of other elements.

Galvanized sheet: Galvanized sheet refers to a steel sheet with a layer of zinc on the surface.

The difference between galvanized sheet and aluminized zinc sheet:

55% aluminum-zinc alloy coated aluminum-zinc steel sheet has superior corrosion resistance compared with galvanized steel sheet of the same thickness when both sides are exposed to the same environment. 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coated aluminum-zinc steel sheet not only has good corrosion resistance, but also has excellent adhesion and flexibility.

The difference between galvanized sheet and aluminized zinc sheet is mainly due to the difference in coating. A layer of zinc material is evenly distributed on the surface of the galvanized sheet, which plays the role of anodic protection for the base metal, that is to say, the alternative corrosion of zinc material protects the base metal. The use of the material can only hurt the base metal inside when all the zinc is corroded.

The surface coating of the aluminized zinc plate is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and a small amount of other elements. Under the microscope, the surface of the aluminized zinc coating is a honeycomb structure, and the "honeycomb" composed of aluminum contains zinc. In this case, although the aluminized zinc coating also plays the role of anodic protection, on the one hand, due to the reduction of zinc content, on the one hand, the role of anodic protection is greatly reduced because the zinc material is wrapped in aluminum and is not easy to electrolyze. Therefore, once the aluminized zinc plate is cut, it will rust quickly if the cut edge is basically lost and protected, so the aluminized zinc plate should be cut as little as possible , Once the edge is protected by anti-rust paint or zinc-rich paint after cutting, the service life of the sheet can be extended.

The full name of aluminized steel plate is "hot-dip aluminized steel plate", which is similar to hot-dip galvanized steel plate in terms of manufacturing process. But its heat resistance is better than that of galvanized steel plate. Aluminized plate has the following 5 characteristics:

1. High temperature resistance: Due to the specific combination of the steel plate substrate and the coating structure, an iron-aluminum alloy is formed, which makes the aluminized plate have excellent high temperature resistance. At 450 ° C, a very high reflectivity can be guaranteed. At higher than 480 ° C, the appearance of the coating is gray. At up to 650 ° C, the protective layer against oxidation of the steel plate is still well preserved without any falling off.

2. Heat reflectivity: At a high temperature of 480 degrees Celsius, the aluminized plate can reflect 80% of the incident heat. Therefore, the aluminized plate can be made into an efficient thermal insulation barrier or a heat reflector in high temperature applications, and the temperature in the furnace can be rapidly increased through effective heat reflection.

3. Mechanical strength: At room temperature, the mechanical strength of the aluminized plate is consistent with the mechanical strength of its substrate. At the same high temperature of 480 ° C, the strength of the aluminized steel plate is 10 times that of the aluminum plate, so the thickness of the steel plate can be reduced by at least 30%.

4. Corrosion resistance: During the hot-dip plating process, the molten aluminum immediately reacts with oxygen in the air to form an Al2O3 protective layer, which immediately passivates the surface of the steel plate. This protective layer is very stable and insoluble in water. Even if the surface of the steel plate is scratched later, this protective layer has a self-healing function. Therefore, the aluminized plate has strong corrosion resistance to chemical corrosion.

5. Ecological characteristics: Unchemically passivated aluminized sheets have no effect on health, so they can be used in food processing. Test reports from many professional groups have confirmed that they are harmless to the human body and are environmentally friendly products. Aluminized sheets can be completely recycled. Aluminized sheets are comparable to stainless steel but only about one-third of the price of stainless steel.
